The Lloyds Register Group is an organisation that works to enhance safety and to approve assets and systems at sea,4>Within the Lifting Appliances and Materials Handling section of Shanghai Design Support Office, we require a high calibre experienced Structural Engineer or Marine Engineer or Naval Architect to carry out plan appraisal of structural aspects of a variety of Lifting Appliances and Materials Handling Equipment. The ed person will also be required to provide technical support to clients and surveyors regarding lifting appliances aspects and will need to develop our position as leaders in the field. Job Responsibilities You will work closely with established Surveyors and Specialists to gain a thorough understanding of Lloyd’s Register’s business and relevant Rules and Regulations. Responsible for both design appraisal, technical support and associated work, you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and creative solutions for structural issues. 职位要求： Applicants should have a relevant degree in Engineering or equivalent or naval architecture or have qualifications and experience leading to tered Engineer status. You should also be able to demonstrate commercial awareness and well-developed communication skills both written and oral and IT skills, as well as a sound understanding of various structural analysis methods and techniques, gained through hands-on experience. Proficiency in English language is a must. You should also have good inter-personal skills
