JOB RELATED STATISTICS: Sales: 10,000,000.00 JOB DUTIES: The position performs a key function in the engine parts supply and support chain. Works mainly with the Marine engine parts supply chain and facilitates the technical link in the parts supply chain. The post is technical in nature and responds to a variety of scenarios ranging regular orders to emergency supplies in case of product break down. This position follows embedded and established processes so as to achieve correct technical evaluation. Facilitates inquiry and order processing for a KEC engine products: · Technical elaboration for parts inquiries and orders for KEC engine product mainly marine channels in order to facilitate the top-level requirement of timely feedback to clients. Reverts to factory in case need. · Places and follows purchase orders on various sub suppliers where technical input is required – for instance, special customer support, team support to service engineers in the region, specialist repairs and services. · Uses the business enterprise operation (Microsoft Axapta) and MaK Host mainframe interface to assist in the elaboration process. · Performs additional technical functions – example billing of technical services and commissioning.Assists with technical aspects and/or clarifications of any customer issues/problems/complaints in case such arise. · Reports issues and events to supervisor. · Some local travel required. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: The position requires a solid technical background and an excellent command of English and a good Mathematical grasp. Some commercial acumen is required. Very good PC knowledge is required as well as complete user knowledge of specialist area Microsoft Axapta and the MaK Host Mainframe Interface. Ability to interact with and be at ease with colleagues of a higher level in the organisation and with clients (some direct clients may be the company owners or senior managers).
