Role PurposeGlobal Maritime relishes the challenges of the sea. The purpose of this role is to lead, drive and manage the business development efforts of Global Maritime, in the ‘Offshore Renewables ' market sector. To work together with the Group Management, GCM, Business Stream Personnel and Office Management to deliver the applicable BD/marketing strategy and adapt and grow it where and when necessary.The individual would be expected to assess new potential markets, expand Global Maritime’s services for the Renewables industry and represent the company at trade fairs and conferences. The role holder would also provide technical expertise in the fields of consulting, engineering, marine warranty survey services and marine operations for other Global Maritime offices.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop and implement long-and short-term strategic plans in support of growth within the business area.To lead and coordinate the global business development initiatives within Offshore Renewables, by building and maintaining relationships with key clients, identifying and following up business opportunities whilst liaising with the business stream director, local/regional management and the senior management team.Collaborate with local managers and business stream leads to create a cohesive global business development team.With the local managers, identify, and appoint suitable staff to support the marketing, business intelligence and development activities, in order to grow the business in line with the company’s ob jectives.Work closely with other business developer positions fr om across the business to develop GM’s overall sales profile, particularly in areas where services are complimentary or where cross-selling is possible.Ensure that the global HSEQ policies are promoted in all activities.Providing support and guidance with the development of proposals and tenders in liaison with the local managers and project managers.Forming part of the extended group management team and actively being engaged in establishing company strategies, targets and market presence in the relevant business area.Specific Skills, Knowledge and Experience requiredProven track record of working in the Renewables industry with established key contactsExperience in contract negotiations and business termsLateral thinker with the ability to be adaptableConfident and self-motivated, works proactively to solve problemsOpen and honest communication with a collaborative team spiritThe ability to challenge and be challengedShares GM’s values and cultureFor more details, please refer to https://candidate.hr-manager./ApplicationInit.aspx?cid=1066&ampampProjectId=144834&ampampDepartmentId=18956&ampampMediaId=5&ampampSkipAdvertisement=Falseplease apply via the website above or sent your application and CV to hr@globalmaritime.cn.
